Humanize understands innovation as one of the essential elements to transform the public sector into a more inspiring environment that propels efficient and inclusive initiatives. However, nowadays there is a low rate of innovation in the area. This problem is exacerbated by issues such as the inefficiency of public processes and services and the lack of motivation of highly qualified people who could occupy public positions.

Such challenges hinder cities from reaching the potential they have to offer inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable spaces for all, especially for vulnerable populations. Several reasons contribute to this, including the limited access to innovative experiences and their low reproducibility. The insufficient qualification of many public servers also weakens decision-making and innovative actions, in addition to containing the production and systematization of knowledge on management and public policies – which reflects in poorly integrated processes and tools.

In this sense, our Public Management program aims at contributing to the efficiency of public policies that promote a more sustainable, fair and inclusive country. For this, we support institutions that work, in a disruptive way, with projects that involve public servers in order to bring about the necessary changes for innovation in the sector. We also joined a network of partners to contribute to systematization and access to successful cases in the public sector, thus encouraging the adoption of good practices. Besides those actions, we gathered efforts to make the public field more attractive for qualified professionals and/or more constructive for professionals who are open to qualifying more.
